Vinárnu U Laury najdete na "Královské cestě" mezi dvěma nejznámějšími pražskými památkami, Karlovým mostem a Pražským hradem. V Nerudově ulici, v centru historické Malé Strany, nedaleko chrámu sv. Mikuláše, ji v první polovině roku 1993 vybudovali manželé Jitka a Josef Skokanovi ze dvou pater gotických sklepů. Základy domu, ve kterém se nachází vinárna, pocházejí ze 14. století. V minulosti zde bydleli významní umělci, mezi jinými i barokní malíř Bartoloměj Spranger, který dům v r. 1593 zakoupil.

Vinný restaurant U Laury Vás okouzlí už při vstupu do typického malostranského dvorku s restaurovanou psaníčkovou výzdobou zdi. V parném létě si tu můžete posedět v příjemném chládku. I z dalších míst na Vás dýchá historie a samozřejmě i vůně připravovaných jídel, flambovaných specialit a lahodných moravských vín. V členitém prostředí sklepů, připomínajících katakomby, si můžete pobýt v intimní atmosféře s malou společností nebo i jen tak ve dvou. Prostory jsou však vhodné i pro svatby, promoční hostiny apod.

You will find Laura's Wine Bar (U Laury) on the "Royal way" between two of Prague's most famous historical monunemts - Charles bridge and Prague Castle. It is located in Nerudova Street, close St. Nicolas church, in the very heart of the historical Mala Strana quarter. It was built in early 1993 by Jitka and Josef Skokan on two floors of gothic cellars. The foundations of the house were laid in the 14th century. Celebrated artists have lived there in the past, including the baroque painter Bartolomej Spranger, who purchased the house in 1593.

Laura's Wine Bar will enchant you the moment you enter into the typical Mala Strana courtyyard with its restored stuco decorations. In the heat of the summer you may sit there in the cooling shade. In the other places you will be also surrounded by living history, as well as the odours of the meals being prepared, flambeau'd specialities and delicious Moravian wines. In the extensive cellars that recall catacombs, you can relax with a small company or just with a friend. However, the premises are suitable for weddings, graduation dinner, etc.
